3/6 vs Steiny in Rundle C, Gideon in LLL
1) bow. Aargh. Knew this was an easy one, I knew what papillon meant from high school French, but kept coming back to the farfalla pasta looking like a bow tie. Happy with the low D of 0/1
2) War of 1812. The only U.S. war I'm aware of in the early 1800s. 1/0
3) Kilborn. Gimme for me, curious to see how this played. 1/2
4) carat. another aargh. I've seen this before. 2/1
5) three card monty. yeah right. 3/3
6) young adult. Happy to pull this out. The titles sounded like Twilight-inspired books. 2012 sounded very late for the NYT to start a YA list, but I liked this option better than manga, which I also considered. 2/2
