1) Madison 1/1 Basically asking who was president in 1814/during the war of 1812.  

2) Confit 0/0  Felt really dumb upon seeing the answer.  Never thought of bisque as French even though it's obvious.  

3) Luna 2/2  I've used this tool, never knew its name, made a guess that crescent would lead to moon.  I was mezza-correct

4) tamagotchi 2/1 

5) surfactant 3/2  Pleasantly surprised to get this correct, a guess based on 'surface' tension.  Never knew what its purpose was

6) Fun Home 1/3  Have heard of this and should have stewed on it longer, though it may not have helped without knowing the plot.  Good clues though, 'a few weeks during the summer' and in a particular town.  Knew Fun Home was incorrect.   Debbie, love the Picket Fences guess, what a great show.

2 :( consomme.  Thought this may be right and stopped thinking about it. shouldn't have.

3 :) mezzoluna. Which I think will count?

5 :( softener.  Now that I see the word I have heard of it but not sure I would have gotten it.

6 :( Picket Fences. Also heard of this.  MAYBE could have pulled it out but unlikely.
