1 : ) Ohio. Initially thought Peachtree/Georgia but couldn’t think of any college/sport associations. Had always wondered as to the origin of the word buckeye so guessed it might be a tree. D11

3 : ) ANC. This question is badly worded. The ANC was not formed to fight apartheid through armed insurrection in 1912. Apartheid didn’t exist until 1948. And in fact a splinter group (the PAC) left the ANC around 1960 specifically because the ANC insisted on non-violence. The ANC later allowed for sabotage as long as civilians weren’t harmed. But it’s the only relevant group founded in 1912 so must by what Thorsten was after. D21
