I thought about this for 10 minutes. Conjugate was the best guess I could come up with and I thought there was a 2% chance I was right.

I knew it was Southeast Asia based on the name. I knew it wasn't Vietnam. Thailand was not a colony. Considered Laos and Cambodia, but 1948 seemed right for a British colony, which left me with Burma.
