A 4/6 today, which I'm happy with given there were some really hard questions there (also 2 geography ones which offsets that)
1 : ) Cretaceous. This seems like a relatively straightforward paleontology question. D1
2 : ) Acadia. A tour guide in New Orleans explained a lot of the "French" settlers in Louisiana were in fact refugees from Acadia following this war, Acadian then turned into Cajun over time in the local pidgin. D2
3 : ( Snow White. No idea. But Olive Oyl makes sense, she has that look about her. D3
4 : ) Buddy Holly. I only know a couple of 50s rock pioneers and this was a lucky guess. D0
5 : ) Cali. Straightforward geography question if you're up to speed with South American cities (or 1980s drug cartels). D1
6 : ( Gladiators. No idea. D2
