1) stagflation :) Wasn't sure this was right but hear it a lot in the news
2) captain K :( could sort of picture this and now that I hear it the name is buried deep, but I never would have gotten it
3) connos :( was thinking connosseur. never heard of this but now makes sense
4) simone de beauvoir :( picked an old female writer. never heard of this person
5) kashmir :( took a class on this in college and thought it might be right but no.
6) rolling stones :) phew, wasn;t sure but glad I pulled it off. confusing (but fun) clue
