Math by Professor Ingram

The key for me to figuring this out was recognizing 258 was close to 256, which is a pretty important number: 2 to the 8th power, or 4 to the 4th.  Then I noticed 83 as being near 81 which is 9 squared or 3 to the 4th power.

(0x0x0x0) + 2 = 2

(1x1x1x1) + 2 = 3

(2x2x2x2) + 2 = 18

(3x3x3x3) + 2 = 83

(4x4x4x4) + 2 = 258

(5x5x5x5) + 2 = 627

(6x6x6x6) + 2 = 1298

Now can someone please explain art and classical music to me?
