4/6, which I’m happy with after having no idea whatsoever on two of the first three. I got the same 4 as Dave M, so perhaps this will be a pattern today.

1. Sharma :(, D23. Had no idea. 
2. Venus :), D21. Cute clue. Got it from “hasn’t been holding anything,” which is how I suspect most will get it. 
3. Samba :(, D02. Again had no idea. I’ve never heard of this. 
4. Very large :), D30. Gimme. Hopefully not obvious to my LL opponent, who is terrible at science. 
5. Cover girl :), D12. The jingle from those commercials in the 1990s is evidently permanently in my head. I knew it immediately as a result of “easy, breezy, beautiful.”
6. Hantavirus :), D11. Gimme. I’m sure we’ll get a few Ebola answers, though.
