Frustrating 2/6 with a lot of near misses.
- Volkswagen :(, D11. I realized it was German and then just guessed wrong.
- Oklahoma :(, D13. Didn’t see how this could be right, but I had nothing here.
- Curse of the Bambino :), D32. I lived in Boston for 9 years, including when this curse was broken. No way I’d miss it.
- Floorboards :(, D21. Perfect example of how this day went. I figured out this had something to do with flooring but couldn’t come up with the right answer. In retrospect, why would tacks be used for boards?!
- Cyprus :), D20. Cute question. All three were gimmes.
- Mini relief :(, D02. I realized that relief had to be in there but couldn’t figure out the other word.
