2. Goldwater :), D01. Loved this question.
3. Pancreas :), D21. I remember Islets of Langerhans from biology class. Otherwise, I would have had no idea.
4. Survivor :(, D10. No chance at all on this one.
5. The Gilded Age :), D12. Sweet. Didn't expect to get this one. It was a term that clearly referred to this time, but I didn't know Twain coined it.
6. Shanghai :(, D22. Surprising gap in my knowledge. This is the sort of question that's usually a gimme for me.
