2 :) Beans. This has come up in LL before and I remember it. I'd never heard of the show before that time.

3 :) NZ. Love the fact that Uruguay is but Argentina isn't

4 :( No idea of the senior level devil. Guessed Steve Bannon. I have heard of Screwtape though.

5 :( silicon. disappointed to miss the Sn link. I figured the 4 valence might have corresponded to a group 4 element so went Si.

6 :( Never heard of Zydeco. Guessed Bebop because I have heard of it.

​2/6, but feels better than the 2 I got yesterday (I somehow got credit for Orion's Belt.)  David, you asked yesterday for thoughts on the Brisbane question, I felt it clearly asked for a state capital, not the state.  And I second your opinion, if you have time to submit answers, you have time to post here.  I'm sick of refreshing my browser hoping beyond hope for an update.  Ben, stop giving tours of Schecter, and let us know if you answered Brisbane correctly.

2/6 today. Actually happy with this since I found these very hard. 

1. Winfrey :(, D2. No clue. 

2. Eggs :(, D1. Other than guessing it had one syllable by symmetry, no clue. 

3. New Zealand :), D0. I think I wasted a D0 here. I thought South Africa was one of them and that this was easier than it truly was. 

4. Luce :(, D3. No clue. 

5. Tin :), D1. I thought stannic was an archaic word for tin that gave it its chemical symbol in the same way plumbum is for lead. Close enough to get this clue. 

6. Gumbo :(, D2. Nope.
