Brian Day 20 vs David S (LL)

 4/6 and I had a really tough time defending Dave, whereas I think I'm easy to defend today. I ended up giving him a 3 in his best category, and a 1 in one of his worst.  Let's see if it worked

1) Pearl 2/2   Gimme for me, Minnie Pearl pinned it to Pearl Jam and ruled out Metallica. I worry a little this could be one of Dave's "even I know this pop music question" or that he would randomly pick Pearl Jam as a 90s band

2) Lehman 0/1  Gimme for us both, though I did consider Bear Stearns

3) Solomon 3/3  A very current event.  I saw this news  (was it last week?) and the name didn't stick with me, I don't think it's something Dave would pay much attention to.  I don't understand how this is a big enough news item to even warrant a question, did I miss something of larger signifiicance?  How is this gettable for the vast majority of LLamas outside of the NYC area?

4) Czechia 1/1  Another gimme for us both; I know this as a region given up to appease the Nazis.

5) Cool Hand Luke 1/0  Haven't seen it but familiar enough to know the answer.  I think Dave could get this from the poker connection as well, and it's probably easier than the Oklahoma burger, so I reluctantly gave him a 1 in film.

6) egg 2/2 Was trying to think of a cheap food to go with the Depression connection, but all i could think of was potato, so I gave up. Feels like a tough question.

3 :) Flaco. I was in Australia for much of this news cycle and wasn't sure if it was Flaco or Rocco. I remember thinking of Steinys favorite QB as well as a weird creepy Australian comedian. Given those strong Flaco connections I don't know why I thought that it might be Rocco other than nerves given my standing in the rundle but this was agonizing. D20.
