Re: Debbie Day 12
Brian Day 12
4/6, but two bad decisions cost me a six pack
1) Double Indemnity 1/0 gimme given the clues
2) Kahlua 2/2 picked a Hawaiian sounding liqueur
3) Phonics 0/1 This actually came up during dinner last night
4) opression 1/2 Isn't freedom from want a thing? But how is that a right? Better keep oppression. Ugh.
5) Kid N Play 2/1 I saw the actors as I was flipping through channels the other night, either in a commercial or a new movie.
6) Miller 3/3 I guessed Capote on an earlier question and got it wrong, thought I'd try it again. But was Capote hobnobbing with glitterati? Better go with Miller, who married Marilyn, even though Death of a Salesman was an answer this season. Ugh #2

4/6 today.
1. Double indemnity :), D12. Never heard of the movie, but I was pretty sure about the insurance term.
2. Kahlua :), D00. Was literally a second from submitting a wrong answer here when it hit me.
3. Phonics :), D12. Another commercial from my childhood that’s seared into my memory.
4. Fear :), D23. Gimme for me. Probably bad defense here.
5. Outkast :(, D31. No clue.
6. Smith :(, D21. Also no clue.

Just 3/6 heading into weekend, don't think it will be enough.
1 : ( Double Jeopardy. Close, but not close enough. I am not familiar with 40s Film Noir or life insurance terms. D21
2 : ( Hangi. Not knowing the Hawaiian I went for the NZ Maori name of the same dish. Quite different name it turns out! D32
3 : ) Phonics. I know the term hooked on phonics but not the nature of phonics itself. D11
4 : ) Fear. Knew both of these and assume quite simple. D10
5 : ( Waylan Brothers. Mixed up my low effort comedy movies. D03
6 : ) Truman Capote. Figured this played hard but given answers so far maybe not. D22
