Ben Day 25 v Mann and Will
Dave M day 25
A 5/6 to round out the season and I suspect that will keep me at the top of D and promotion bound. See you all next season
1 : ) Blinding Lights. I read this in grammy related news, I can’t actually recall the song. D02
2 : ) Battle of Hastings. Simple-ish world history question but that’s a weak category for my opponents. D32
3 : ) Vine. I never used it but remember hearing about its demise. D11
4 : ( Golden. I had no idea so used a term I’ve heard related to hat-tricks in Cricket. D23
5 : ) Single Lens. A guessed based on this being the outcome of using the contraption listed in the clue. D20
6 : ) GME. I feel this could be a gimme for others but not entirely sure. D11
Brian Day 25 vs FriedlandMJ
4/6 to end the season. I'm on the cusp of promotion, but it's unlikely. I had by far my best season, beating my previous best by 13 correct answers. I chalk that up to random luck in the questions and expect to be pummeled next season. Now I'm looking forward to baseball, my second vaccination, and eventually in-person pub trivia. Happy Pesach, Easter, and a return to normalcy to you all!
1) Lit 3/3 No clue
2) Battle of Hastings 0/0 A very convoluted way of asking an essential world history question
3) Vine 1/1
4) Top 2/2 Never heard of this, but go Islanders!
5) Single lens 1/1
6) GME 2/2 Despite being all over the news, I assume knowing the actual ticker symbol is difficult.
