2 or 3 today, my first RTFQ mistake

1) Farrakhan.  No idea 2/2

2) Joy of Cooking.  Wild guess, I can't believe i got this.  Was convinced that Emily Post was a pseudonym and that this was probably her etiquette book, but I didn't know the name of that book, so I threw in Joy of Cooking as at least it was definitely the name of a book that fit the question.  0/0 because i figured everyone else would know the etiquette book 

3) Mobius Strip.  Yup, I put the name of the object.  Hoping that since Mobius is first, Strip will be extraneous, but I don't really deserve this.   Wasn't sure how to defend as this was mentioned in a question last year (Klein bottle), but my LL opponent got it wrong.  Let's see if he did his followup research.  2/2

4) White.  Just knew this.  1/1

5) Street.  I have absolutely no idea what any of these songs are.  So I took a shot that they were 90s songs, from Backstreet Boys, Blackstreet, and, um... other bands.  (p.s. Reading Jesse's post, should have known Kansas, but not the others). 1/3

1/6. My crushing defeats in C this season have not been very sporting, but I may have to reconsider my definition of that wordif cup stacking is a sport.

2 :( joy of sex. Kinda close here. Never heard of the joy of cooking. Wtf were Americans cooking back then? Apple pies? Hot dogs? D22

3 :) möbius. Easy question of the day. D00

4 :( grey. I thought about white but decided it was too hard to keep clean. D11

5 :( city names. So close. I was thinking of Chicago, Boston etc. I was always surprised by the number of bands with us geographical names. Went the wrong way. D11 because I figured recognizing one song would get someone there.

6 :( surfing. I knew this sport was not in the olympics or else I would have recognized the events. I rate myself pretty highly on knowledge of obscure sports, so I D33ed this given I didn't know it.

3/6, of which I was sure on two and pretty sure on a third. No shot at the rest.

1. Achebe :(, D21. Didn't think this was right, but it was definitely my best guess. No shot here it turns out. 

2. The Joy of Cooking :), D11. This was a guess, but I felt good about it. I really didn't see what else it could possibly be. 

3. Mobius :), D02. Gimme. I've been making these since I was very young. 

4. White :), D10. Gimme. I'm guessing most people won't have a problem with this one, but I do find it hard to judge how hard history questions are. 

5. One word names :(, D33. Nope! Had no clue. 

6. Triathalon :(, D22. Seriously?! This is a sport? I spent most of my time trying to think of something better than triathlon, which I'm not sure truly qualifies as a sport (as opposed to a race combining other sports). But turns out I had no shot whatsoever.
