Brian Day 18 vs BelskyB

​4/6 Kicking myself a bit for one, but got gimmes in two of my worst categories, hoping for some points

1) Canton.  I'm weak in geography, but this was a gimme. 0/2

2) International Space Station.  Two words would have been Death Star, 3 words must be the ISS.   2/1

3) Empenada.  Knew this was wrong, but I blanked. Surely a gimme. 1/0

4) Venus.   My worst category, but this was obviously The Birth of Venus. If even I knew this, I'm worried about the defense. 3/3

5) Euripedes.  No chance here.  2/2

6) Tammany Hall.  Gimme.  Learned it with Boss Tweed in high school, reinforced it with The Gangs of New York and more recently reading The Alienist.  1/1

As for the mid-season classic, I'm glad they weren't representative of the regular season, because I only got 2/12.  Lucky I knew the lead singer of Whitesnake. Here I go again.

Horace lived December 8, 65 BC – November 27, 8 BC. Yes, that's first century BCE, but I feel that non CE centuries ought to be qualified. Nobody would say that Stonehenge is a 20th century structure or that Knossos was first occupied in the 20th century.

5. :( I put Virgil. Considered Ovid. Would have been closer, but still wrong.
