Excited to try out the private rundle! I’m going to follow Steiny’s scoring methodology, seems simplest.

2 : ( I never heard of this story growing up in NZ – is it recent? D2/2

3 : ( I was strangely confident this was Rolling Stones for some reason, couldn’t work out the ‘coincidental’ part of the clue. D2/1 (swapped defense with Q5 for Weisz)

4 : ( I also guessed Marquette hoping the town = college, but the college is in Milwaukee it turns out. D3/3

Hi everyone,

Really excited to be in this private rundle and back participating in this blog - it's been too long. Thanks for including me.

I assume for the purposes of this blog we'll post our defense for the private rundle. 

3/6 to start, annoyed about the music one. 

1) :) (we still doing smiles and frowns?) - Just knew this one. D2

2) :( - I am a new parent - my daughter is 3 months old - something tells me I would have gotten this one if it was asked in a year. D1

3) :( - A little Day 1 rust here. I misread the clues and overthought. I answered The Traveling Wilburys, mostly because any time I see Roy Orbison's name, that's the band I think about. I just decided to rewrite music history and assume that a member of Kinks joined at some point. If I looked a little closer at the songs and not the artists, I would've gotten there. Typing out my thought process makes me feel even dumber. I've really missed this blog. D2

David S Day 1 vs Steiny (regular) and MeyerE (LLL)

Welcome back, all. It's been too long. 3/6 against Steiny in my regular match and MeyerE in LLL (not sure who MeyerE is). 

For formatting purposes, I'll put points as X/Y, where X is my regular D and Y is my LLL D. 

1. Saline :(, D1/1. Oof, bad start. Don't want to mix those two up!

2. Go dog go :), D1/0. My kids don't have this book, but I used to. My only problem was remembering whether the title was Go Dog, Go Doggie, Go Dog Go, or Go Doggie Go. Good thing I chose right. 

3. Aerosmith :(, D3/3. No clue. 

4. Marquette :(, D2/2. I was hoping the university was in the city Marquette, which is in the UP, but no. 

5. Roundheads :), D2/2. Only gimme for me today. 

6. Colonel Sanders D0/1. I was pretty sure Rob Riggle was in a KFC commercial. Glad I got this.
