Gideon Day 25 LL76

Hey all, good season.  A rough start but a strong finish for me.
I'd be psyched to play in a private rundle!

6/6 today

1 :) D1 Dragnet - I've seen so many parodies of this:  Mathnet, Police Squad/Naked Gun, that one episode of Woody Woodpecker.
2 :) D2 Cheops - I associate the name Cheops with Giza.
3 :) D0 Illinois - I got it from Wabash and Kankakee.
4 :) D2 Worms
5 :) D3 Bundt Pan - Over-defended this one, I think.
6 :) D1 Parabola

Will Day 25

The humiliation of finishing last in my rundle is too much to bear. This game takes an emotional toll on my fragile ego but I can’t wait for the next season!

Brian I Day 25

4/6 on the last day of a fun season.  Happy to improve from 82 to 90 correct answers, putting me over .500 lifetime, but my DE took a nosedive to the bottom, costing me more than a few wins.  Pretty sure I'll stay in C, I'd need a loss and victories by the two players just below me to get relegated.

Would love to do the private rundle, count me in!

1) Dragnet.  I wasn't confident, this was a pleasant surprise. D2

2)Ramses.  Chag sameach to those who celebrate!  D1

3) Ohio.  I had no chance.   D1

4) Worms.  Gimme, I just know this for some reason. D3

5) Bundt.  I hope I don't need to include pan, otherwise a gimme. D0

6) Parabola.  Super duper math gimme. Not my favorite conic section, but it's close. D2

And now... play ball! Let's Go Mets! Let's Go Mets!

Sharon wrapup.

Been AWOL due to travel, which cost me a win (answering late at night,
I wrote "Santo Domingo" instead of the country name, after thinking to
myself all day that I should avoid that mistake.) Also notable: after
trying to think of "fortnite" and instead putting "limelight"
half-a-season ago, I totally blanked on Fortnight. Now that it's been
an answer I will try hard to forget it as useless (things come around,
but this is likely not significant enough to).

Today: Passover clouded my ability to think about Egyptian rulers, I
stupidly didn't read "Eastern" in the geography question (would have
gotten it, even), and wrote "earthworms" instead of "worms" because I
didn't take the time to think about King Phillip Coming Over From
Great Spain and how soon in that sentence we hear the word Phillip.
Oops. 3/6.

Overall I was in C for a long time and had this theory that B and C
are pretty similar but very narrow relegation/promotion zones keep
them separate more than anything real. And while I had a pretty
strong season I pretty much proved my theory right my first season in
B. Still think A is crazyville and while I bounced up and down near
the edge of promotion in B, kind of happy to stay in B for next
season.
