4/6 and no chance at more.  Actually quite happy with this given that most of these were in unfriendly categories for me.  They were, however, very friendly categories for my LL opponent, who I think could easily drop a 9(6) on me.

1. Antigone :), D12.  Read it in 9th grade English class.

2. Dylan :(, D13.  No chance at all on this.

3. The Blair Witch Project :), D22.  This scared the [expletive] out of me an all my friends in high school.  (Yes, Brian, I was in high school when this came out.)

4. Good Neighbor :), D31.  Wrote down Discount Double Check and then changed it to Good Neighbor at the last second.  Just kidding...

5. Belarus :), D20.  Gimme.  My only complaint on this question is that it got much worse in the fall than it was in the summer, so "erupted in the summer of 2021" is perhaps not the most accurate phrasing.

6. Lonesome Dove :(, D01.  No idea at all.

Brian Days 14 & 15

 3/6 yesterday as I misread the Medina question as looking for an alternate name for the Hegira, which of course was Mohammed's Night Flight, Night Flight being the name of a Led Zeppelin song and not the night journey, which is what I was thinking of, and which would have been wrong even if the question was asking for another name for the Hegira, since that was his trip to Jerusalem, and I was kicking myself since had I read it correctly I would have gotten it correct.  Though I still would have lost on the day on defense. Red and terra cotta were gimmes, I guessed Polyponnesia correctly in hopes it had to do with the Wars and the Leagues, and I incorrectly guessed Eastman Kodak and Phantom of the Opera (thereby losing my NYC cred).

1) Graf 0/2  Between Becker and Graf, but I couldn't see Becker playing that far into the 90s

2) Valley, Kings  1/0  Knew it for some reason (perhaps Indiana Jones?), gorge/valley confirmed it.

4) Steinbrenner 2/1  I had the song in my head, but couldn't pull Lola's name. (What Lola wants, Lola gets.)

4/6, but I screwed up my D and there's one I'd really like to have back.

1. Graf :), D01.  She just came up in a conversation Ben and I had.  Should be very easy for him.

2. Valley, Mummies :(, D12.  Wrote down Valley, Kings but then changed it to the wrong answer.  Luckily for me I did the exact opposite on a later question, so I suppose it's a wash.

3. Radian :), D20.  Gimme, and gimme for Ben, too, I'm sure.

4. Lola :), D23.  Right in the limited area of theater where I'm actually very strong.  I was certain about this one.

5. Styrofoam :(, D32.  This is the one I'd really like to have back.  I don't know how I missed this so completely and, to boot, convinced myself it was really hard and assigned very high D.  This could easily cost me the match.

6. Malawi :), D11.  Not sure how hard this plays.  I originally put down Chad, but since that lake has shrunk so much in recent years, I decided to switch it to Malawi.  Makes me feel less bad about question 2.
