Kim Day 25
Well, I thought I might avoid dead last, but 1 today probably doesn't help that effort. Either way, this is ridiculously fun and I look forward to Rundle E!
1 :) Paneer.
2 :( Hocus Pocus. I never watch TV but could have got it from the movie alone if I tried harder.
3 :( leather. This is a dumb guess.
4 :( Marcos. Nope.
5 :( Des Moines. Midwestern is a stretch!!
6 :( Egghead. Just in case.

A nice 4/6 to end the season, hopefully extending my winning streak to 6 and what looks like a promotion back into D, which seems to be my natural home after so many seasons.
1 : ) Saag Paneer is one of the best parts of Indian food in my opinion. D0
2 : ) The only two female-led comedies I know of from that time were 9 to 5 and Working Girl. I’m pretty sure Working Girl was a couple of years after 1980, so took a guess at 9 to 5. Worked out! D1
3 : ) One of her rooms was on display at the Dallas Museum of Art a few months ago. D1
4 : ) Knew both, went with Sukarno. D2
5 : ( Total guess of Kansas City didn’t pay off this time. D2
6 : ( Again total guess of McCormack. Would never have guessed this. D3
and one more thing from Brian...
LET'S GO METS!!!!!!!!
And in the LL off-season, consider trying some one-days and mini-leagues for your fix. I'm signed up for all 4 MLs: Visual Art, True Crime, LGBT, and 2000 Sports. See you there!

Brian Day 25 vs Ben
3/6 as I find myself suddenly fighting off relegation, only one point out of the zone. And I'm just behind a friend with 5 forfeits, how embarrassing. Hoping to get some points from a movie question disguised as literature.
1) vindaloo. no clue. 0/1
2) 9 to 5. Gimme for me, that movie was on all the time when we first got cable. 1/2
3) candy. There was a touring candy exhibit that my friends with tween daughters were posting on facebook. I thought this could be it, and that Ben might have seen it on facebook as well, hence the abnormally low art defense. 2/1
4) Suharto. recent history gimme. Plus, this came up recently. Ben, pub trivia maybe? 1/0
5) Omaha. no idea. can't imagine Ben is following this. 3/2
6) Warshawski. This could save my season. I thought there might be a chance these books were made into movies. My first thought was Blue Steel with Jamie Lee Curtis, but she was a uniformed cop. Then 'hard boiled' brought Kathleen Turner to mind, perhaps because I just saw her play Chandler's dad on friends a few weeks ago. Once I had Turner, the movie V.I. Warshawki burst forth in all its glory from my buried memories. Hope this does it, and I get to stay in C with newcomers Seif and Carr. 2/3

1 :) paneer. Gimme for a former Australian vegetarian
2 :( airplane. I don't know many 1980 era comedies. I've watched grace and Frankie but it didn't help
3 :( meat. Mirrors make more sense and would smell better.
4 :) Suharto. Could have provided either answer.
5 :( Minneapolis. Maybe Wasted d0?
6 :( Holmes. My parents have a gazillion Paretskys but I've never read one. Ask me again in 10 years and I expect I'll have gotten there.
Jesse day 25
2/6 One last brother battle in the LLL. Have a good off season everyone.
