Brian Day 8 vs Dave M in LLL

4/6

1) non player character.  Despite the last two video games I've played being Rock Band and Tetris, I picked this up somehow. 2/1

2) Conservation of momentum.  Whats it called when an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an external force? Conservation of momentum? Sure, sounds good.  damn. 2/1

3) Griffin.  Knew it was a female, couldn't remember who, but thought it was a big enough hit that I'd defend low.  1/0

4) mod. Ben and Dave, I'm assuming I get credit for this?  Also, isn't this a poorly worded question?  12 is not congruent to 60 mod 8; 12 mod 8 is congruent to 60 mod 8.  This is either missing a comma or the word 'in'.  3/3

5) Franklin.  Thought I had a good shot at this, wasn't sure.  1/2

6) Masters.  Another that I wasn't sure of but felt good, I didn't watch much Magnum.  not sure how to defend, as a remake just aired.  (Seif, in case you haven't figured it out, these are characters who were only heard, not seen. Vera came close, but took a pie to the face.) 0/2

Kim Day 8

This is humiliating, but I couldn't not post vs Seif in LLL!

1/6. At least I got my defense right.

1 :( new player character D13
2 :( continuity D11
3 :) Tina Fey D22
4 :( +/- D01
5 :( Adams. Changed from Franklin. D20
6 :( Wallace. D32

Ben day 8 v rando and ando

4/6

1 :) non player character. Easy for a geek like myself. D23
2 :) inertia. Was not 100% but I thought it was this and had no alternative. D21
3 :) fey. The image on that book cover really seared itself into my brain. I have no idea how well known this is and maybe my D10 was a mistake.
4 :) modulo. Math gimme. I suspect he might also accept base because of complaints. D32
5 :( smith. I guess I could have gotten this. D11
6 :( Jane. If they'd given the magnum name and asked for either Maris Crane or Mrs Wolowitz I had this. I just don't know magnum PI so had no shot.D12

Seif Day 8 vs. Kim (LLL)

3/6, and this was all I realistically had a shot at getting.

1. Not participating character :(, D22. Got pretty close here, but it was a complete guess; I had no real chance here.

2. Inertia :), D12. Gimme.

3. Degeneres :(, D11. I vaguely remembered that this was a woman, but I had no chance. Actually, maybe even that much was just a lucky guess.

4. Modulo :), D33. Gimme for me once I read the question a few times and understood it. Double D3 just because both my opponents are poor in math.

5. Franklin :), D00. I tried hard to overthink this but fortunately came to my senses before blowing what was an easy question for me.

6. Smith :(, D21. I feel like this question is playing chess and I’m playing checkers here. I had absolutely no clue not only what the answer was but even how to approach it.
