David S Day 6 vs. Dave M (LLL)

 

5/6 on a day where the questions were decidedly not in my wheelhouse. Hopefully this makes me very hard to defend. 

1. Kahlo :), D23. This is featured prominently in the movie Frida (don’t worry about spoilers, it’s at the beginning), which I saw.
2. Nocturne :), D22. Only thing I could think of that involved a time, per the clue. I love getting an art and classical music question to start things out!
3. Pong :), D10. Gimme and easiest of the day, I suspect. 
4. Bromine :), D31. This could trip people up because bad smell is associated with sulfur. But given the clue about it being right below chlorine on the periodic table, there was no doubt for me. 
5. Captain Crunch :), D11. I assume this will pay. Gimme but for the abbreviation. 
6. Artwork :(, D02. No idea.
