1 :) Jazz. Actually got it from the sports team, which matched an Apple, which matched a hypothetical Toni Morrison book name. I still don't understand the disposable cup. Maybe I will once I ready your comments.

2 :) prism. Not sure I love this definition. I thought all of the edge faces of a prism were rectangles. This description sounded like a truncated pyramid but that's not 5 letters. And can you not have a circular prism?

3 :) anemometer. Can't recall if I know this from uni or trivia. I suspect the latter.

4 :( Phoenician. I think I learnt this in Athens last year but promptly forgot.

5 :( kiss. Numbers didn't fit but I had no shot here.

6 :) Uzbekistan. Tashkent made it instaget for me.
