 another day that could have been anywhere between 1 and 5, I'll take 3

1) Clarinet 1/1 coin flip between the two long French baguette-looking instruments

2) Ethiopia 3/2 In the right region

3) Pan Am 1/2 I fell for the trap, even though 1962 seemed very late for it to be built, and whatever Expressionist means, the Pan Am Building sure doesn't seem to fit that bill.  But once I got Pan Am I didn't even consider anything else.

4) electron 0/0 ahh, a gimme

5) dressage 2/3 the only event I can name

6) Lincoln 2/1 I thought I was guessing, but more likely The Dead Poets Society stuck with me.
