1. War and Peace :), D02. Right time period and Russian sounding name. Seemed like the clear guess. I admit I haven’t read it. 
2. Voyager :), D13. Only one I was sure of today. 
3. Calf :(, D22. No idea. Have never heard of this.
4. Marx :(, D11. An embarrassingly terrible guess. But I had no shot. 
5. Short Line :), D30. Better guess than Pennsylvania, Reading, and B&O. 
6. Morocco :), D21. Just guessed the westernmost Arab country.
