2) British 2/2 All I had to go on was Lennox Lewis and someone named Nigel, but it was enough.
3) Western dystopia 3/3 no idea never heard of it
4) Unemployment 0/0 Haven't though of the Phillips curve in a long time so wasn't 100% sure, but unemployment fit the bill for both
5) The Queen's Gambit 1/1 Love this question! Besides the gimmickry of using chess notation, the Cold War-era description could, while not a red herring, throw people off and think of politics.
6) Colombia 1/1 Lucky/semi-educated guess. Savanna and grasslands had me thinking of the Congo and hence the equator, and Colombia for some reason was my first thought for South American equatorial country.
