2) Marie Antoinette  1/0  Le Brun sounded French, the year matched up

3) Gumbo 0/1  Was quite pleased when I decided Thieboudienne also sounded French and gumbo could be related to Gambia.   I assume I'll regret this defense

4) Polo 2/2  Was certain this was the sport of kings.  I got the mode of transportation correct, I suppose.

5) Ellington 3/3 Knew this was wrong but had no idea.   I've heard of Glenn Miller but know nothing about him

6) Speaking in tongues 1/1   'glosso' = tongue.   Seif, good luck, the phrase is 'speaking in tongues', I've never heard it otherwise, but i'm saying there's a chance.
